Very good, but crowded **UPDATED
Ive raised my rating to 5 stars. I lead a Bible study at my church, and this is the app I recommend to friends. Navigation to specific places within the Bible is fast and intuitive. Highlighting and notes work well, and in iOS 9, these sync between devices. On larger devices (iPad), it is easy to set two translations side by side. I have gotten used to the menus, which do provide needed access, and which do not intrude on the larger screens I use now (iPad & iPhone 6).
It is a request, not a complaint, to say I would still like to see the New Jerusalem Bible (2nd Ed.) translation offered.
Original review: Tecarta on the iPhone 4S functions smoothly and efficiently, with good navigation and quick search capability. Surprisingly clear and easy to read, the one problem is that the screen is crowded with menu panels at top and bottom that reduce reading area significantly. Some reader apps provide a toggle (tap in the center of the screen) to remove those menus, and it would be good if a future release of Tecarta were to do this, too.
